What I did this summer...

Wow I haven't written in here since July 22.  Every time I say I'm going start writing in here I never do, haha.  Well I start school in the morning.  Its my senior year of college, wow I feel old, haha.  I haven't really done anything all summer.  I went to Warped Tour in July.  I was supposed to go see Blink-182, Weezer, taking Back Sunday and Chester French this past Saturday in Hartford, CT.  But didn't go.  I really wanted to got to show since late May.  Two weeks ago I just said fuck it (literally I was alone in my room and I actually said out loud, "Oh fuck it") and bid on and won two tickets to go to the show on eBay.  But I had no one to go with me and thus I started to freak out.  One of my old friends said he might, and then he didn't give me an answer.  I called him last Wednesday because I was starting to worry, three days before the show, and he said his grandmother was in the hospital and he couldn't go.  I freaked out.  I couldn't think of anyone else to go with me and if I wanted to see them on eBay I only had less than three days to sell and ship them.  Then at like 7:30 pm I said screw it and put them on eBay.  I was relived after 20 minutes one person messaged me saying they might want them and then another messaged me and said if I added a Buy-It-Now they would pay $75, including shipping.  I added a Buy-It-Now and sold them.  But I still really wish I could have gone.  I have been doing whatever I can think of to make money.  I sold I shit load of stuff on eBay this summer.  I listed 200 items and made more than $748.28.  That's a lot.  I started writing articles on the articles on eHow.com.  the site is full of How-To articles.  You write articles on the sites and they pay you for the views your article gets.  I wrote 14 articles on the site.  I written anymore though because the site pissed me off.  They were having problems and I sent them three messages over three weeks and the over responded to the second two, which annoyed me.  Then I started thinking about how I bet this site probably generates tens of thousands of dollars in ad revue every month.  They can more than afford to hire a few more people to work at the site and then it won't have issues.  And when they did answer my messages their answers were really crappy.  Since I started writing these articles, my 14 articles have a combined 1123 views and according to eHow I have made zero dollars off of my articles.  They are trying to tell me 1123 views equals zero dollars.  How?  I bet they made money off of ad revue of my 1123 views.  (You can read my eHow articles by clicking here).  I also had a yard sale in June to make money, or maybe it was May.  I sold stuff at the Flea market twice this summer.  I have been getting stuff and bringing to this thift store in Leominster called Cutiques, I bring stuff then and when my stuff sells they give me a check.  My mom also discovered this place in Holden where everything is free.  She got me a whole bunch of cross stitch patterns there and I sold them for between $2.5 and $20 each.
When upgraded to Digital Cable in mid-July and ever since I have been watching a lot of movies.  I literally have watched about 50 movies since May.  That a lot for me.  And most of them were really good.  (You can read reviews of all the movies on the Flixter application on Facebook).  I also became addicted to the show Weeds.  I bough the first two seasons at a yard sale for $2 each and I LOVED the show.  I watched the first two seasons in like three days.  I then had to go buy season three because the cliffhanger at the end of season drove me crazy.  Then I had to go buy season four.  With each season I liked the show more.  When I finished watching season four I started re-watching the DVDs.  Then when I finished watching season four I freaked because season five is on TV now and wouldn't go on sale until June of next year, I checked Amazon.  I really wish we got Showtime so I could watch the new season, but Showtime is an extra $10 a month and if I wait I can buy all of season five for like $20 next year.  Last week I was at my great-aunt's house and she gets Showtime and has On Demand so I was able to watch the first one and a half episodes of season five.  I also four books since the beginning of May.  That is a lot of books for me.  I usually read like maybe 2 books a year. You can see a list of all the movies I watched and books I read by clicking here.

My only plans all summer is to sell stuff on eBay.....

Alls I have to do now is to sell stuff on eBay.  My mom gave me a crap load of stuff today that I have to start putting on eBay, like probably over 40 things.  So I'll be busy with that for a while.  My only plans for the rest of the summer is putting stuff on eBay and my cousins baby shower this Saturday.  That could be interesting, but probably boring.  My new friend Laura was supposed to have a pool party or something this Thursday but apparently her mom got mad at her and now she can't have it.  That sucks!  That sounded like it could be fun.  Now I got nothing.  So I'm going to spend the rest of the summer putting stuff on eBay.  This really sucks.  I REALLY wanted to go to the Blink-182, Weezer, Taking Back Sunday and Chester French show in Hartford in August but I couldn't find anyone to go with me and I really didn't have the money to buy anything but a lawn ticket.  Pretty much alls that's left for tickets to that show is lawn tickets.  I also really want to go to The Get Up Kids show at the Palladium in Worcester in October, but I can't find anyone to go with me.  I'm no TGUK superfan, I think it'd be really cool to see them.  (TGUK means The Get Up Kids for anyone who couldn't pick up on that).  Well whatever I guess I'll just stay home, sell stuff on eBay and watch TV.

My first really randon post in 2.5 months

So over since my last post not much has happened in my mundane life.  I reorganized my room a little.  I gave my old desktop computer and desk to my grandmother.  I got a new desk.  I FINALLY  have a desk I can sit at and use now.  I got a some new shelf units to hold my stuff.  I got new CD shelves.  And all my new shelf units are black and the all match.  My room looks nice now.  My mom bought me a nice printer for my room.  I have gotten really into the artist Gus Fink, am have bought a bunch of his stuff on ebay.  I now have seven Gus Fink art prints on my walls.  I am FINALLY going to hang that sweet Sublime skateboard on won in an online contest on the wall.  I also FINALLY bought a record player, although it is a piece of shit.  I also have picked up some sweet really cheap records including by the Beatles: "Let it Be", "Magical Mystery Tour", "Revolver", "Abby Road", "1962-1966", and "1967-1970"; "My Aim is True" by Elvis Costello; "Double Fantasy" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono; and "Never Mind The Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols" by the Sex Pistols.  I am really want "London Calling" by The Clash and "Skeletons in the Closet" by Grateful Dead on vinyl.  I am watching both on ebay and will probably bid.  Speaking of ebay since I'm not currently working I am trying to sell whatever I can on ebay.  Check out my crap athttp://shop.ebay.com/merchant/ribzy12_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZThere is a bunch of crap want to do this summer but won't.  First I want to go to the Eugene Mirman show in Boston this month, but won't.  I want to go to the gallery of the work of Shepard Fairy at the ICA in Boston, but won't.  I really wanted to go to Blink182's reunion, but I highly doubt I'll do that.  I now own a Sega Genesis, an N64 and a GameCube, but I am in no way a gamer and I rarely play any of them.  I also no own a 5' tall Homer Simpson that sings and dances.  My bought it at a yard sale.  I turned 22 this past Monday and I did pretty much nothing to celebrate.  Me, my mother and grandmother went out to lunch.   Bun is having me drive her to the cemetery to water the plants on Grampy's grave several days a week.  I don't know what else to say.  I'll try to blog again this weekend.

A bought a great box set and a book

I am so happy, the CD box set I bought on ebay came today.  I bought No Thanks! The '70s Punk Rebellion (pictured above) on ebay last week.  It's an awesome four CD set that I've wanted for like a year or more.  It's about $60 in the stores, I paid $15 (including shipping) on ebay and it's in really good condition.  I'm going to listen to it soon.  It has some amazing songs on it.  There are like three awesome CD box sets by these guys at Rhino Records.  The first is Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968 which has great songs from the psychedelic era of the 1960s, No Thanks! The '70s Punk Rebellion which chronicles the beginning of punk, and Left of the Dial: Dispatches from the '80s Underground which has some awesome underground songs from the '80s.  I bought the last one last summer at the flea market for $10 (although sadly it's missing disc 4 ) and I just got No Thanks! on ebay, alls that's left is Nuggets.  I'll probably never buy that one though, it isn't as good as the other two.
I also just bought the book "The Will to the Whatevs: A Guide to Modern Life" by Eugene Mirman (pictured above).  I've wanted this book for a few months now, I didn't rush to buy it because I'm not a huge reader so I'll get it when I get it.  If you don't know who Eugene Mirman is then I recommend you crawl out from under the rock you live under and look up this amazing comedian online.  This book is a hilarious self-help book that he had been writing for a while, but the book just recently came out.  The book is 206 pages, so I might get through it by Christmas, haha.  I'm a very slow reader.  Mom had a coupon so I only paid like $6 for it Borders.  A few weeks ago me and ma were at Borders and I started reading this book called "Weird Stories, Bizarre Stories and Life's Oddities".  I shows mom and she looked at it and asked if I wanted her to buy it for me.  Just to let you know she had a coupon she needed to use, she doesn't normally just buy me stuff.  At first I said no but then I looked at the back of the book and saw it was only like $4, so I let her buy it.  So I've been reading that too, but that has a lot of pictures, so it's a faster read.
Over the past weekend we went to our first yard sale of the year.  If you don't know me well, I love yard sales and flea markets and such.  I've got some amazing deals on stuff.  I've also bought stuff and resold it for a good profit too.  I can be a good salesman.  There was only one yard sale over the weekend, but this weekend there'll be more and then there'll be pretty much more each week.  It's very exciting.  My mom said the Rietta Ranch flea market opens for the year this Sunday, she wants to go but I don't think we are going to.

I figured I'd Update, So Here It Is

I opened this blog and realized I haven't written in here for almost two weeks so I figured I'd write something (even though I know the only one who reads this is Jessie...).  I was going to list some stuff on eBay today but I never did.  I've been meaning to list a bunch of stuff for like three weeks and just haven't yet.  I am planning to list a shit load of stuff this Saturday.  The Last Comic Standing final was tonight.  Iliza Shlesingger won, she was funny, but she definitely wasn't the funniest.  I am still pissed Sean Cullum was booted off last week, he was awesome.  Although he was a very successful comic before Last Comic Standing and will be after.  Tomorrow I am going to Worcester to pay my college bill.  Me and mom are both paying half, my half for this semester is $1542, yah, that sucks.  Today I went to Hannafords to return Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay to the RedBox.  While I was there I bought another pint of Ben & Jerry's: Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream.  I plan to start to eat when I watch his show tonight.  It will be epic.

Calc Sucks & Stupid Teens love AP

UGH I HATE CALCULUS!!!!   The teacher for my online Calc I class I'm taking posted horrible notes online and we are supposed to learn Calculus ourselves from his notes and the book.  He keeps saying to use the math computer programs Maple and Converge.  However, he never really goes into much detail on how to use these programs.  He relies way to much on these programs.  If someone takes his online Calc I class and then tries to take Calc II in a real classroom they'd be screwed.  I have to take Calc II so I'm hoping I do OK.  I sent a message to Jill P. to see if she could help me tomorrow.  She didn't respond yet.  I'm really really hoping she will help me.  I tried calling her house at like 7:30 but she wasn't home.
I had an issue of Alternative Press for sale on eBay.  I listed it for $.99.  It just ended at $10.  These people are crazy.  The issue got 18 bids.  Why do people pay so much for issues of AP?  I've sold issue for $15 and $20.  Why?  I get a year subscription of AP every year at warped tour.  I've sold most of the issues I have.  I am making a huge profit on these issues of AP.  With the sale of this issue I have enough to buy a new two-year subscription of AP.  Most of the high bidders on my AP issues are teenagers, who 9 times out of 10 only buy it because their favorite band is on the cover.

Best Day Ever

Okay, today was an awesome day.  It was the best day for three reasons.  First, I got back my test in Digital Computer Organization today.  I had that test on Friday, it was horrible, it was really really hard.  But the test just gave us the test and left, so the whole class cheated off each other.  I got the test back today, I got an 85!!!!!!  Second, my parents got a Temperpedic bed today.  My great aunt had bought and decided she didn't like it, so she just gave it to my parents.  It is awesome, it has built it motors to raise your head and/or feet.  It also has built in massagers.  Third, I've been selling Willow Tree Angels on eBay and earlier on of them sold for $81, and that isn't including shipping.  That is amazing.  To honor this awesome day I've imported a widget to play SpongeBob's song "The Best Day Ever".

eBay stuffs and some cleaning

Today I cleaned my closet.  It still looks cluttered, but it's a lot better.  I went through some of T-shirts and put a few aside to be sold on either eBay or the flea market.  I started a new box next to all my eBay boxes for flea market/yard sale stuff.  I've made a large list of all the Willow Tree Angels I will be putting on, which you can see by clicking this text. I have a test in Principles Political Science on Tuesday and my teacher said we can use our book and our copy of the constitution.  He also said it is okay to take notes in the margins of our book.  So, earlier I copied most of my notes into the margins of the book.  HAHAHA, I was watching the Simpsons and the made a joke about mixing diet coke with mentos to cause a massive explosion and they played a Dropkick Murphy's song off and on through out the episode.
