Mystery Team was a fairly good movie

I just finished watching the film Mystery Team.  I heard of this movie a couple months ago and thought Donald Glover was pretty funny so I had to see it.  It was alright.  Donald Glover carried the entire movie with help from Aubrey Plaza, the other two guys weren't funny.  There were a few actual funny people with actual careers in this movie, someone must have owed Donald Glover a favor.  D.C. Pierson's character seemed like a Napoleon Dynamite rip-off who thinks he is a know-it-all.  The little kid who's mom is a stripper is awesome.  The film was kind of dumb, what that was the point.  I kind of hope that these guys don't make another movie though.  I think Donald Glover should do movies, maybe even with Aubrey Plaza, but the rest of the guys aren't really that funny.  I give this one a 3 out of 5 stars.

Many of the commenters on this article are idiots.  The Facebook group wasn't about attacking anyone it WAS ABOUT FREE SPEECH.  AND YES THAT IS FREE SPEECH..  We must have freedom of speech and freedom of religion and freedom of religion includes believing what you want. But it doesn't mean if someone else religion said you are not allowed to do something than you can't do it.  This isn't about being disrespectful it is about having the right to draw a picture.  We are non-Muslim therefore our religion doesn't say we can't draw Mohammad, therefore using our right to our freedom of speech if we'd like to draw him we have the RIGHT to.  If you are offended by this no where does it say that you have to look at it.  However, if you are offended by this you DO not have the right to take someone else's constitutional right away because you don't like it, and you ESPECIALLY don't have the right to threaten to kill someone for expressing this right.  Granted this only true in the U.S of A.  Someone in the comments, who was angry about the group, suggested a group be created called "Draw Jesus taking it in the @$$ Day".  Well I say do it.  That would be free speech too.  So go for it.  I'll join that group too,  it doesn't matter.  I wouldn't join it just to be an ass, no I'd join it because I am a HUGE supporter of Free Speech and freedom of religion.  We need to protect these rights.  Many people these days are trying to take away our first amendment rights, not just the Muslims some Christians have similar arguments, we need to fight back.  There is a reason all the freedom's I have mentioned are in the first amendment to the Constitution, because our founding fathers knew it was very important and they knew they needed to make sure all people in there new country would have these rights.  If you don't like the fact our founding father's gave us these right than LEAVE THE COUNTRY, we'd be better off without you anyway.

Urban Legends: The Final Cut was about as good as it looked

I just watched the film Urban Legends: The Final Cut.  I wasn't expecting much from this film which is good because it didn't really deliver much.  This film was definitely not as good as the first one.  The acting was great.  The plot was more ridiculous than the first.  I did like the girl in the beginning who was acting in everyone's horror film because she is a horrible actress and they tell her that.  I thought it was funny because most horror films feature sexy actress who are horrible actors.  I didn't like the ending, I thought it was dumb.  Although I got to say I didn't expect that person to be the killer.  I did like the very end though when they are at the awards ceremony and such.  Just now as I'm typing this I realized the joke in the title, clever. 

What Alice Found is a SUB-PAR Indie Film

The other day at midnight I came across this movie entitled What Alice Found on IFC.  Interesting film, but basically a sub-par indie with an extreme shoe-string budget.  All amateur acting.  I found it to be a somewhat bland film.  However, I guessing they probably made this film on like a thousand dollar budget and considering that it could have been a lot worse I guess.    I give this film a 1.5 out of 5 stars.

Patton Oswalt is great in Big Fan

Yesterday I saw the film Big Fan.Great cast in a surprisingly entertaining film starring the hilarious Patton Oswalt in a somber role. The film, like Patton's character Paul Aufiero, struggles along but is still pretty entertaining hen its all over. The ending was surprising but very fitting.  I give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

the film Daybreakers is a Freash Twist on the Vampire Genre

I just finished watching the film Daybreakers.  It wasn't what I expected; I expected it to be a much darker film.  I was very pleased though.  Very interesting vampire film, they aren't vampire hunters, and the aren't cutesy vampires that just want to fight with werewolves for the love of a teenage human.  The film is about a vampire scientist who is tying to find an alternative to human blood who ends up helping a group of humans try to find a cure.  In a time when vampire movies usually suck, this was a fresh twist on the genre.  I give this film a 3.5 out of 5 stars. 

The Unborn Would have Been a Classic Horror Film If Only They could have Found People Who Could Act

So I watched the movie The Unborn this afternoon.  This movie was actually better than I expected despite the fact Odette Yustman can't act. When I first saw the commercials for this movie over a year ago I thought it looked like another ridiculous modern horror film with horrible acting that would turn out to suck. I was right about the acting part, but movie was OK. But let's be honest how many horror films actually have good acting in them, the genre isn't really know to produce films with very good acting. This film had a rather interesting plot and the effects were pretty good. In the beginning of the film I immediately predicted the ending, but that didn't make it any less good, the ending was alright.  I give this film a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Crazy Heart is the Film that Will Be Remember as Showing the World What We already Know: Jeff Bridges is awesome.

Well I just finished watching the film Crazy Heart.  I heard good things about this movie and thought it might be good, but I got to say I thought was movie was very good.  Jeff Bridges definitely deserved his Oscar, it's nice seeing him get the recognition he deserves.  The film is full of great actors.  Colin Farrell gave a surprisingly good performance.  I like Colin but he surprised me with this film.  The story was very good.  But the essence of the film is in Jeff Bridges and the incredible music.  I don't even like country music, but as a scene in the beginning of the film showed Bad Blake is the last of a dieing breed of real country musicians not the crapping watered down forced country music 90% of the artists play.  This film had some incredible music.  A highly recommend you watch this film if you haven't yet seen it.  And if you've already seem it, ah hell, then watch it again.  I gave this film a 5 out of 5 stars.

I might just start writing in here again.  I graduated college today, or well I guess it was yesterday now.  So good for me.  I've been watching a lot of movies on TV and renting films too, and for a long time now I've been writing reviews on the Flixster app on Facebook.  I think I'm gonna start posting those reviews here too.  I just might be posting other stuff as well.
